Lemon Rock

Lemon Rock is a drink from Sunda Coffee. A double shot of espresso and lemon, shaken, then poured over ice. I didn’t want to open on the glass, so the film starts with the barista and the idea that every coffee you hand to someone carries a bit of the person who made it.

For the look, I kept the bar in cool blues and let the lemon be the only warm thing in frame until the espresso hits the ice. I directed, shot, and edited it myself on a Sony a6300, in 4:3, so it would feel closer to a short film than a product ad.
