I Wanna Be a Kid Again

There’s a kind of grief nobody really names. It’s the one you feel for the person you used to be. Carefree, not scared of much, still figuring life out without knowing you were supposed to worry about getting it wrong.

I shot it in black and white for distance more than for style. In color it would have felt too close to today. The grain, the slow cuts, and the quiet all point the same way: this is a memory.
